Connectors

Connect business tools safely, understand connection states, and fix common connection problems.

Connectors let Winglo work with tools your business already uses. The catalog is the source of truth for what your workspace can connect today.

Open the connector catalog#

Choose Connectors in the main navigation. A department can also show an Integrations or Connectors page for tools used by that department.

The catalog can show a tool as available, connected, disconnected, restricted, or coming soon. A tool marked coming soon cannot be connected yet. Availability can also depend on your plan and workspace.

Connect a tool#

  1. Open the connector.
  2. Read the permissions and setup instructions.
  3. Choose Connect.
  4. Complete the sign-in or enter the credential requested.
  5. Return to Winglo and check the connection state.

A connector may use a secure sign-in flow, an API key, or a service URL. Follow the form shown for that connector. Never paste a secret into chat.

Use least access#

Grant only the permissions needed for the work. Use a service account when your company policy requires one. Keep ownership of the connected account with your organization, not one employee.

Connecting a tool does not mean every action runs without review. The department's autonomy settings and the action itself decide whether confirmation is required.

Check connection health#

Open the connector again to view its current state. If a department cannot use it:

  • Confirm that it still says connected.
  • Check whether the provider revoked access.
  • Check the account's permissions at the provider.
  • Reconnect when Winglo asks for new access.
  • Confirm that the connector is available to the department doing the work.

A provider can also be temporarily unavailable. Read the error before changing credentials.

Disconnect a tool#

Open the connected tool and choose Disconnect when that control is available. Confirm the action.

Disconnecting stops new access through that connection. It does not delete records already created in Winglo or at the provider. If you must also revoke access at the provider, do that in the provider's security settings.

Protect credentials#

  • Do not share API keys in chat, screenshots, or support messages.
  • Rotate a key if it may have been exposed.
  • Remove old connections when a staff member or vendor leaves.
  • Review sensitive actions before approval.
  • Follow your own retention and access policies.

If a connector is not listed#

Winglo does not claim support for a tool that the catalog does not show as connectable. Use a supported connector, or contact your Winglo representative about the business need.
