SEO with Nova
Use Nova to track keywords and rankings, interpret audits, prioritize opportunities, and review SEO evidence.
Nova leads SEO and Search. Use Nova to turn search data and site observations into prioritized work without confusing a finding, a recommendation, and a completed website change.
Set the measurement context#
Complete Nova's guided setup with the site, market, audience, and goals shown. Keep stable site and audience facts in Memory, and connect only the search or site services offered to your workspace.
Search results vary by query, market, language, device, date, and data source. Include those details when they matter.
Understand Nova's work areas#
Keywords contains the search terms you are tracking or evaluating. Rankings shows measured position data and changes. Audit groups findings about the site. Opportunities turns evidence into possible next actions, while Competitors supports comparison with other sites or search results. Reports holds completed summaries and recommendations.
A ranking movement is an observation, not an explanation. An audit finding identifies a condition, not proof of business impact. An opportunity is a recommendation, not evidence that a change has been deployed.
Request a focused review#
Name the site or page, query or topic, country or market, language, audience, time period, and output you need.
Review our service pages for local payroll searches in Amsterdam. Identify the five most important issues, explain the evidence, and recommend a safe first fix. Do not change the website.
Read keywords and rankings in context#
Before acting on a movement, confirm the exact query, page, market, observation date, and source. A small movement may reflect normal variation. A large change may still be caused by tracking configuration, a site change, or missing provider data.
Use filters consistently when comparing periods. Do not compare values collected under different markets or devices as though they were the same series.
Work through audits and opportunities#
Open an audit finding to see the affected page and evidence. Decide whether it is still present before commissioning a fix. Prioritize opportunities by business relevance, confidence, effort, and reversibility—not by severity labels alone.
Send content work to Max and visual work to Sarah when those departments are active. A handoff gives another department context; it does not publish or deploy the result.
Check competitors and reports#
Competitor analysis should use the correct domain and market. Treat inferred strategy as interpretation unless the evidence directly supports it. In Reports, check dates, sources, and scope before accepting a recommendation.
Fix missing or stale data#
Open Nova's Integrations page and the global Connectors catalog. Confirm the intended property, account, and department access. Read any connection or sync error before reconnecting.
When the source is unavailable, ask Nova to work only from the evidence currently present and label the limitation. Do not treat missing data as zero performance.
Manage Nova#
Use Memory for approved reusable SEO context and Settings for the controls available to your workspace. Pause Nova when you need to stop new department work, then check active workflows separately.
