Reports, activity, and Live
Use Reports, Activity, Live, and execution history to distinguish finished findings from work in progress.
Winglo separates finished analysis from work that is still happening. Reports holds completed findings, Activity provides a time-ordered record, and Live shows work in progress when it is available. Department work queues and execution histories add more detail for supported departments.
Read finished work in Reports#
Open Reports from the main navigation to browse work across departments. Search by text and use the available category, status, and date filters. Open a report to read the complete result and its supporting context.
Depending on the report and your access, you may be able to pin it, approve it, request a revision, download it, or delete it. A report that is still generating is not ready for review. Wait for its status to change before relying on it or attempting a download.
Pinning keeps an important report easy to find; it does not change the report's approval state. Deletion is permanent, so keep any business record your organization requires before deleting it.
Trace what happened in Activity#
Activity is a chronological view of workspace events. Use its filters to narrow the timeline to the kinds of work you are investigating, then open the linked record for full details.
Activity is most useful for questions such as “When did this change?” or “Which department produced this item?” It is not a substitute for the destination system. If Winglo reports an external action but the final provider state matters, verify it at that provider.
Watch current work in Live#
Live shows active work and new events as they arrive. Use the available tabs to focus on decisions, drafts, alerts, or the full stream. The connection label tells you whether the view is actively receiving events or waiting in standby.
Live is a monitoring surface. Complete a required decision in the linked item or Inbox and approvals. Closing Live does not cancel the work.
Some departments also have Live or Live Ops inside their own workspace. That view is limited to the selected department, while the main Live page gives a broader workspace view.
Use work queues and execution history#
Where they are shown, a Work Queue groups work that is planned, waiting, or running. Execution History records earlier runs and their outcomes. Open an item before acting so you can distinguish a task waiting for approval from one delayed by a connector, schedule, or usage limit.
For repeatable work, open Monitor and repair workflow runs to inspect steps and failures.
Choose the right view#
| Need | Best place |
|---|---|
| Read a completed analysis | Reports |
| Find when something happened | Activity |
| Watch current work | Live |
| See department work waiting or running | Department Work Queue |
| Review previous department runs | Execution History |
| Approve a guarded action | Inbox or the linked item |
| Inspect each step of repeatable work | Workflows |
Review important results#
Check the scope, source facts, dates, assumptions, and destination before acting on a report or draft. An approval records your decision, but a connected provider can still reject or delay the action. Read the final status before trying again.
See Winglo statuses and terminology when two labels appear similar but lead to different next steps.
