Create and publish content
Plan, draft, review, and publish website or channel content with clear approval controls.
Max can help plan and draft marketing content. Winglo also provides editorial, website, and publishing views when those features are available.
Choose the right area#
Inside Marketing, you may see:
- Campaigns for campaign plans and progress
- Content for content work and pipeline views
- Editorial for website content records
- Website for site content and settings
- Publishing for connected publishing destinations
Your plan and workspace decide which areas are available.
Create a draft#
Start in chat, a campaign, or the relevant content view. State the content type, audience, goal, offer, tone, and call to action.
Ask for a draft when you do not want an external action. Review facts, links, names, dates, prices, claims, and required legal text.
Move work through review#
Use the status shown on the record. A draft is not published. When a review or approval control is shown:
- Open the full content.
- Check the selected destination.
- Preview the result when a preview is available.
- Approve, reject, or request a revision.
- Confirm the final status after the action finishes.
A successful approval and a successful delivery are separate events. Read the result.
Publish to a connected destination#
Connect the destination first. The available destinations are shown in Connectors, Publishing, or website integration settings.
Select only a destination that you control. Check the account, page, site, or channel before publishing. If Winglo shows a guarded action, it will not run until it is approved.
Do not assume that one connection publishes to every account at that provider.
Manage website content#
Editorial content can include blog posts, documentation, case studies, changelog entries, and media where supported. Only records that meet the product's published rules are exposed to public or headless readers.
Archiving or deleting content can also affect an attached website or CMS. Read the confirmation. Deleting a record can be permanent, while an external CMS may apply its own trash or retention rules.
Fix a publishing problem#
- Confirm the content is in a publishable state.
- Check the destination connection.
- Check required fields such as title or slug.
- Look for an approval still waiting in the Inbox.
- Read the delivery or sync error.
- Fix the cause before trying again.
If the target already contains an older version, inspect it before creating a second record.
